This pages leads to the OSP tutorials. Below are listed the tutorials in the order in which they should be taken.
Good luck in completing them. I you have any questions while taking them, you can use the 'Help!' link in the upper right hand corner to get directed to someone who can help you.
- Simulation Authoring 1 - This tutorial introduces you to many core concepts and is the foundation for doing the other tutorials. In it you create a very basic simulation into which two participants can enter into to learn a simple but fundamental concept of negotiation.
Requirements:
- A simulation authoring account. If you need one of these, please contact scole@usip.org for assistance.
- About 1 hour of time.
- Simulation Conducting 1 - This tutorial will introduce you to all of the steps necessecary to conduct an online simulation: creating a play session, establishing a schedule, inviting player, etc.
Requirements:
- In this tutorial you will set up a play session for the simulation you created in the previous tutorial 'Simulation Authoring.'
- You will need two friends to play the two different actor's roles in the simulation (Alternately you could log on and log off as each of the players by yourself.)
- About 1 hour of time.
- In Progress! Simulation Authoring 2 - In this tutorial you will begin to incorporate more advanced features, such as documents that the players can edit, into a simulation.
