Help!

Welcome!

This pages leads to the OSP tutorials. Below are listed the tutorials in the order in which they should be taken.

Good luck in completing them. I you have any questions while taking them, you can use the 'Help!' link in the upper right hand corner to get directed to someone who can help you.

  1. Simulation Authoring 1 - This tutorial introduces you to many core concepts and is the foundation for doing the other tutorials. In it you create a very basic simulation into which two participants can enter into to learn a simple but fundamental concept of negotiation.
    Requirements:
    1. A simulation authoring account. If you need one of these, please contact scole@usip.org for assistance.
    2. About 1 hour of time.

  2. Simulation Conducting 1 - This tutorial will introduce you to all of the steps necessecary to conduct an online simulation: creating a play session, establishing a schedule, inviting player, etc.
    Requirements:
    1. In this tutorial you will set up a play session for the simulation you created in the previous tutorial 'Simulation Authoring.'
    2. You will need two friends to play the two different actor's roles in the simulation (Alternately you could log on and log off as each of the players by yourself.)
    3. About 1 hour of time.

  3. In Progress! Simulation Authoring 2 - In this tutorial you will begin to incorporate more advanced features, such as documents that the players can edit, into a simulation.
